Brand new for 2018, Bauer has continued their revolutionary line and brought out the new Bauer Supreme 2S Intermediate Goalie Stick. The 2S Intermediate stick will feature a traditional paddle design and updated shaft construction making the Supreme line of equipment better than before.
Starting from the top down, the 2S Intermediate shaft has been rebuilt using Carbon composite materials and a double concave geometry to make it easier for the goalie to get a smooth grip when shooting the puck, but also reinforces the shaft to help increase durability from pucks hitting in to the shaft. Moving down into the shoulder, Bauer continues their using their Control Zone to give the goalie an solid grip on their stick without the weight of traditional hockey tape.
Moving down to the paddle, the 2S Intermediate will feature a traditional Ergo paddle design and air channel construction. This design is perfect for those who loved Bauer composites in years past. On the back of the paddle, the paddle has been left “open” and features a skeleton-like reinforcement with air between the front and back layers.
In the paddle and blade, there will be an unpainted Silver carbon glass weave outer wrap to provide great durability and a sleek visual look. There will be a full carbon blade which will be light but also react well to pushing pucks hard and away to corners.
If you are an intermediate-level goalie who is looking for traditional designs in composite stick performance with strategic reinforcements, the Bauer Supreme 2S Intermediate Goalie Stick will be for you.
